Hi. My name is John Kelley and I will be playing Dr. McCoy in New Voyages. I saw that you had a fairly big article on our project and (as I only speak english) was wondering what you guys thought of the trailer.
I hope you all can check out the show when it comes out in December. We've had a great time making it.

| | I am very pleased that we can watch another voyages of the original crew of the original Enterprise.
I have one question and one idea.
Do I understand well, that 1st and 2nd (maybe some other too) episodes are made from scripts for not made episodes, so it was written many years ago in check of Gene Rodenberry?
And the idea: I think it is very big problem for many czech fans to see the films in english. This is appeal to readers of StarNET, what about making czech subtitles for the film? We could translate the episodes ...
I am not enough good in speaking/writting enlgish, so I will say the rest in czech:
Pokud jste nav?tívili fórum o seriálu Andromeda, tak tam byl návrh (myslím, ?e se tak moc nerozjel, ale také měl jeden velký problém) přelo?it třetí řadu tohoto seriálu.
Zde by to ?lo také. Video není problém stáhnout a snad bychom mohli dostat i scénář v textové podobě pro lep?í pochopení.A třeba by pak mohly být titulky umístěné na Základně Antares, v nejlep?ím případě ne jen jako text k vyti?tění, ale opravdové titulky (nevyznám se v úpravě videa, tak?e nevím, jak to jde do WMV formátu). |

Anyway, I afraid WMV format really doesn't do justice to it. Compression factor is ugly. DivX is what we need. What about bittorrenting it? |

| | | S.S.Enterprise - Your pronounciation of Mister Capek's name was most helpful and we will try to make sure and say the name properly. As for the lines, I was suggesting that I email you Mister Capek's lines and have them recorded with you reading the englsh so that the accent is correct (assuming that you have an accent) :) I don't want to poat the lines here as I want everything to be a surprise... As far as the music is concerned, we will be posting a complete list on the site once the episode is released. I don't know what exactly Jack used on the new trailer - but I think it works great as well...

In Case of Mr.Capek I think that the record I've sent to you can be helpfull to your actor. I don't expect the final realisation of Capek's name will be same as my "original" :-)
I'm not sure of your text "Capek's lines", please specify it. Do you mean whole sentences including the name? If so,.. please type some example of sentence.
I think the audio that I sent to you have to be sufficient. But I may be wrong.
I think you are right in case of English/American articulation of czech words... Somebody else could place here his/her own opinion...
The new Trailer is very good! Is it the "TNG The Best Of The Both Worlds" music against background? Is it used also in New Voyages episode one? It seems to be good music anywhere :-) |

Thought you guys might like to know that there's a new trailer available at www.5yearmission.com. Would love to hear your impressions (in english if at all possible, otherwise I can't read it - selfish - I know, sorry)
The new script is nearly completed and you will be glad to know that the newest science officer on board the good ship Enterprise is Mister Capek! He will appear on the bridge. In fact, S.S.Enterprise - I may ask you to record and email sound files of Capek's lines so the actor can get the accent right. It seems to me that Eastern European accents are always butchered (done poorly) by actors in the states - I could be wrong, let me know what yo think...
